They are arranged first by period, then by century which is subdivided into the first and latter halves. The statues are then grouped in the following order:Buddhas （nyorai）Bodhisattvas （bosatsu）Wisdom Kings （myōō）Devas （ten）Arhats （rakan）MeasurementsHeight to hairline—the measurement from the feet of the image to its hairline. In order to allow for the differences in the treatment of the hair of images due to iconography, Buddhist sculptors used this measurement as the standard height. 飛鳥時代後期 7世紀後半一面縦6.7㎝ 横7.3㎝ 厚2.9㎝［所見］周縁に火焔を付した二重円光を負い、蓮華座（仰［所見］1番「連坐塼仏」（09.79）とほぼ同形であるが、やや小型（像高3.0㎝）。上縁および左右縁は完形、下縁は欠失。もとは四尊連坐か。山田寺「四尊連坐塼仏」と［所見］頭部正面に化仏坐像（光背上端欠）。左手に水瓶、蓮と反花）上に、定印を結び左足を上に結跏趺坐する仏坐像（像高3.1㎝）を並列する。仏の上方に天蓋。左右辺および下辺を欠失するが、下段の上端一部が残る。山田寺・当麻寺・紀寺その他からの出土例と同型の塼仏。飛鳥時代後期 7世紀後半一面ほぼ同寸。飛鳥時代後期 7世紀末〜8世紀初期一軀像高22.5㎝ 髪際高19.3㎝銅造鍍金。蠟型一鋳、ムク。足枘で台座上に立つ。 蓮華座および八角台座。高6.7㎝。銅造鍍金。蠟型一鋳。右手施無畏印。平安時代前期 8世紀末〜9世紀初期縦6.3㎝ 横6.0㎝ 厚1.7㎝一軀37連坐塼仏Tile with decoration of two Buddhas観音菩□立像Kannon, the Bodhisattva of Compassion菩□立像Bodhisattva09.79, Denman Waldo Ross Collection09.78, Denman Waldo Ross Collection05.229.1□2, Chinese and Japanese Special Fund飛鳥時代Asuka Period平安時代Heian PeriodII 仏像・神像 Buddhist and Shintō Sculpture
