本章には、落款・印章および様式的特徴（一部図様の近似したものも含む）により、琳派系と判断される伝承作品を収録した。配列は各作者の生没年順を原則とし、逸伝作者や無落款の作品については近似した様式をもつ作品の近くにまとめた。収録順はおおよそ俵屋宗達・宗達派（1〜7番）、尾形光琳（8〜12番）、尾形乾山（13〜15番）、渡辺始興（16〜21番）、酒井抱一（22〜25番）、鈴木其一その他（26〜36番）である。This section includes paintings that have been created by artists working in the Rinpa style as determined by signatures, seals, or style. The paintings are primarily arranged by artist as follow: Tawaraya Sōtatsu and his lineage （Nos. 1−7）, Ogata Kōrin and his lineage （Nos. 8−12）, Ogata Kenzan（Nos. 13−15）, Watanabe Shikō （Nos. 16−21）, Sakai Hōitsu （Nos. 22−25）, Suzuki Kiitsu, Ikeda Koson, and Yamamoto Kōitsu （Nos. 26−36）.
